Preview | Millwall v Sheffield United

Lions look to blunt Blades...

28 September 2018

Millwall return to Sky Bet Championship action at The Den on Saturday afternoon as The Lions host Sheffield United (kick-off 3pm).

Neil Harris' side were knocked out of the Carabao Cup at the Third Round stage by Premier League side Fulham on Tuesday night and, as a result, can now focus on League matters until the new year.

The manager made eight changes in midweek and will be expected to revert to the majority of the XI that performed well at West Bromwich Albion when deciding on his starting line-up ahead of The Blades' visit.

Shaun Hutchinson remains the only long-term absentee.

Zampa's Family Fun Zone returns this Saturday! Between 1-2pm in the Lions Centre, families from both sets of supporters can enjoy a range of activities for FREE!

A DJ will also be present by the SE16 Bar from 1.30pm until just before kick-off, whilst Heart4More will be offering FREE CPR training in a marquee next to the South Stand Ticket Office.

Shaun Williams adorns the front of the weekend's matchday programme, which continues to commemorate the club's 25 years at The Den, this time taking a look back at the 1997/8 campaign. An interview with Robbie Ryan is also inside along with the usual stats, facts and features. Pick yours up around the ground for just £3.

Tickets for the visit of Sheffield United will be available right up until kick-off, but if you cannot make The Den this weekend, full match commentary will be available on iFollow Millwall from around 2.50pm. International subscribers can also watch all the action from SE16 on iFollow. Click here for more details.
