Preview | Millwall v Ipswich Town

Lions back at The Den...

26 October 2018

Millwall's Sky Bet Championship campaign continues on Saturday afternoon with the visit of Ipswich Town to The Den (kick-off 3pm).

A second consecutive home win was secured on Tuesday as The Lions came from behind to defeat Wigan Athletic in dramatic circumstances, as Neil Harris' side now take on managerless Ipswich looking for a third win in four matches.

The manager has a full squad to choose from and must decide whether to start with super-sub Steve Morison in attack, or to stick with Tom Elliott, whilst Tom Bradshaw is also waiting in the wings.

Furthermore, Shane Ferguson and Jed Wallace excelled out wide against The Latics, but Aiden O'Brien's second-half performance will give the boss food for thought with regards to team selection. Shaun Hutchinson made his first-team comeback from injury in midweek and will challenge Murray Wallace and Jake Cooper for a starting berth, too.

There will be no Family Fun Zone for the visit of The Tractor Boys, but there is plenty going on prior to kick-off in SE16 as Millwall's Remembrance Match takes place. Full details on the pre-match itinerary can be found here.

Ryan Leonard appears on the front of the matchday programme, which continues to commemorate The Lions' 25 years at The 'new' Den. This issue looks back on the 2000/01 campaign, a season in which Millwall made history by winning the Division Two title. An in-depth interview with goalkeeper Tony Warner, plus all the usual stats, facts and features, is inside. Pick up a copy for just £3!

Tickets are available right up until kick-off, but if you cannot make the game, full match commentary will be available on iFollow Millwall from around 2.50pm. International subscribers will also be able to watch all the action from The Den on iFollow. Click here for more details.
