Throughout 2018/19, millwallfc.co.uk will keep up with the news of our players out on loan deals. Here we have the latest on the five Lions currently with their respective temporary clubs...
Ben Thompson - Portsmouth
Ben Thompson had an impressive week for Portsmouth as Kenny Jackett’s side secured two more wins on the road. Beginning with Tuesday’s 1-0 win at Crawley Town in the Checkatrade Trophy, Ben played the final 26 minutes to see out the win, before playing the full 90 minutes as Pompey took a 2-1 win from Tom King’s AFC Wimbledon on his return to South London.
Sid Nelson - Swindon Town
Sid Nelson was an unused substitute for Swindon Town as the side went down 2-0 at high-flying Exeter City on Saturday. The result leaves The Robins 13th in Sky Bet League Two – albeit just four points outside the Play-Off places.
Tom King - AFC Wimbledon
Tom King was among the substitutes for Wimbledon as Ben Thompson’s Portsmouth side took home three points with a 2-1 victory at Kingsmeadow.
Fred Onyedinma - Wycombe Wanderers
Fred Onyedinma entered the field 12 minutes from the end of a narrow defeat for Wycombe Wanderers away at Coventry City. With The Chairboys battling a 1-0 deficit, Fred was introduced but the side were unable to claw a way back.
Harry Donovan - Dagenham & Redbridge
Harry Donovan’s Dagenham & Redbridge were on the wrong end of a tight game at the weekend, going down 2-1 for the sixth time this season at home to Wrexham. Harry was not in the squad on this occasion, with The Daggers looking to improve on their poor fortunes against Boreham Wood in the Emirates FA Cup next week.
