Preview | Brentford v Millwall

Lions on the road...

2 November 2018

Millwall face Brentford in a London derby at Griffin Park on Saturday afternoon (kick-off 3pm).

The Lions are currently in the midst of a four-game winning run at home, but are without an away victory in 2018/19, despite recent performances at Nottingham Forest and Reading warranting more than the one point from six gained.

Brentford, meanwhile, are winless in nine in all competitions and have slipped down the League table to 16th place, despite a strong start under the now-departed Dean Smith.

Neil Harris may opt to name an unchanged squad from that which defeated Ipswich Town 3-0 at The Den last weekend, with Jed Wallace doubtful once more. Shaun Hutchinson returned to the fold against The Tractor Boys and will hope to feature in the heart of the defence once more.

The Lions' allocation for the visit to West London is SOLD OUT, with no tickets available to purchase on the day. If you were unable to secure a spot inside Griffin Park, full match commentary will be available on iFollow Millwall from around 2.50pm, whilst international subscribers can watch all the action on iFollow as well. Lions fans travelling to Griffin Park this weekend are advised to check their journey before they leave, with issues expected in the area.

There are currently weekend closures of the A4, in both directions, between Clayponds Avenue and Ealing Road. There is also one lane closed Eastbound between Boston Manor Road and Ealing Road. These closures will affect travel to the game.

To get to Griffin Park, supporters heading East down the M4 are advised to come off at Junction 3 and use the A312 and A4, bearing in mind there may be more traffic than usual on this route. Those supporters using the North Circular or A4 from North/Central London should exit at the Chiswick Roundabout and use the South Circular and A315 to approach Griffin Park via the Ealing Roundabout.

There has also been a change to the Brook Road South Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) around Griffin Park. The midweek restrictions on parking are now in place from 10am-12 noon and 6pm-8pm. There is no change to the Saturday matchday restrictions which are in place between 2.30-3.30pm on home Brentford match days.

Furthermore, train strikes mean that NO trains from London Waterloo will stop at Brentford. Click here for further details.
