Millwall's Shaun Williams made his Republic of Ireland debut last Sunday as Martin O'Neill's men took on Celtic in Scott Brown's Testimonial.
The midfielder played 61 minutes at Celtic Park before being replaced by Graham Burke as the Irish drew 2-2 with Brendan Rogers' team.
Alan Browne gave the Republic the lead, but Leigh Griffith's goal restored parity. Callum O'Dowda nosed Ireland back in front, but Patrick Roberts equalised just two minutes later to ensure the match ended in a draw.
Next up for the Republic of Ireland are two stern tests against France and USA.
