Lions wrap up their campaign at The Den...

4 May 2018

Millwall complete their 2017/18 Sky Bet Championship campaign at The Den on Sunday afternoon as they take on Aston Villa (kick-off 12.30pm).

The Lions' Play-Off hopes are all but over after two consecutive defeats to fellow promotion rivals Fulham and Middlesbrough, but a season that has defied all odds will be celebrated as Steve Bruce's men - already qualified for the Play-Offs - visit SE16.

Manager Neil Harris may be forced to reshuffle his pack at the weekend, with Mahlon Romeo and Ben Marshall having to withdraw during last Saturday's defeat to Boro and George Saville missing out completely, whilst others have been "carrying knocks for a few weeks," according to the boss.

The two clubs will meet for the 33rd time on Sunday, with Millwall looking for a ninth win over Villa historically. A goalless draw was played out at Villa Park in December, but The Lions have won their last five home matches against their opponents in all competitions - most notably a 2-1 FA Cup Fourth Round victory in January 2013, where John Marquis headed home a last-minute winner.

Sunday's game is SOLD OUT, with no further tickets being made available for sale. The main Ticket Office in the Barry Kitchener Stand will be closed on Saturday, but will open from 9.30am on Sunday morning for supporters wishing to collect their tickets. The club strongly advises fans to arrive early to prevent lengthy queues building before kick-off. There will also be a DJ outside the SE16 Bar prior to kick-off.

After the game, the club asks that you stay in your seats and give the squad that have given supporters many moments to remember in 2017/18 a chance to undertake a well-deserved lap of honour.

MSC 2017/18 Player of the Year Shaun Hutchinson features on the cover of the final matchday programme of the season. Priced just £3, all the usual stats, facts and features are inside. Pick one up around the ground prior to kick-off.

On Sunday there is major engineering works affecting the railway lines into London Bridge Station. There are no Southern services to and from New Cross Gate and the services to and from South Bermondsey are reduced. The normal special service provided for supporters in such instances will not run. Other services will only be formed of four coaches.

If you were unable to secure a ticket for Sunday's game or cannot make it, full match commentary will be available on iFollow Millwall from around 12.25pm. International subscribers can watch all the action on iFollow. Click here for more details.
