QPR and Millwall's Under 23s battled to a 1-1 Professional Development League draw at Loftus Road on Monday afternoon.
Tom Elliott gave Kevin Nugent's side an early lead, but Osman Kakay equalised further into the first-half to secure a point.
Aiden O'Brien returned from an injury lay-off to take his place in a strong starting XI that also included David Martin, Harry Toffolo, Ben Thompson, Elliott, Fred Onyedinma and Shane Ferguson.
On 11 minutes, Millwall took the lead as Elliott headed home a cross from close range.
The young Lions nearly doubled the lead seven minutes later, but a flowing move ended with Thompson's shot being saved by Timothy Dieng.
QPR fought back and forced Martin into stopping efforts from Ilias Chair and Idrissa Sylla, but there was nothing the goalkeeper could do with Kakay's sweet equaliser in the 36th minute, as he looped a shot over the head of the former MK Dons man.
The R's nearly took the lead as the first-half came to a close, but Aramide Oteh smashed a shot against the post.
Sylla had the chance to put Rangers in front just before the hour-mark, but scuffed his shot wide. A few minutes later at the other end, Onyedinma charged down a clearance and headed towards goal, but chipped his effort wide.
Romeo Akinola crashed a shot against the crossbar late on, before an outstanding challenge from Jesse Debrah prevented Deshane Dalling from winning the game at the death.
