Murray Wallace believes he has everything it takes to succeed as a Millwall player after clinching a move from Scunthorpe United.
The 25-year-old, who has signed a long-term deal at The Den, becomes The Lions' first signing of the summer.
Speaking to millwallfc.co.uk he said: "My whole aim when I joined Scunthorpe was to get to this level.
"They had ambitions to get to The Championship as well and unfortunately they missed out. I'm delighted now I've got the chance to play at this level with Millwall.
"I'll give absolutely everything on the pitch. I like a good tackle and pride myself on my competitiveness, so I think I'll fit in well here and be a success."
Wallace credited Neil Harris for selling the club to him perfectly as he now prepares for a new challenge in his career after three years with The Iron.
He added: "Neil gave me the video presentation and explained exactly what he expects from the team and what he looks for in a Millwall player - and that's me down to a tee.
"It's a new adventure that I'm really looking forward to."
