Millwall Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Murray Wallace from Scunthorpe United for an undisclosed fee.

The 25-year-old, a former Scotland Under-21 international, becomes Neil Harris' first signing of the summer and has put pen-to-paper on a long-term deal at The Den.

The centre-half, who can also operate at left-back, made just shy of 150 appearances during a successful three-year stint at the Sky Bet League One side.

A product of the Falkirk youth system, Wallace began his career in his native Scotland - making his first league start in August 2011 against Partick Thistle.

He went on to join Huddersfield Town in January 2012, but was immediately loaned back to Falkirk for the remainder of the season.

The defender made 58 appearances in total for The Terriers in the three years he was there before signing for The Iron on a permanent basis in January 2016, after a successful loan spell earlier in the season.

His first season at Glanford Park saw him score twice in 35 appearances, while his second campaign saw him play every minute of every game.

He made 54 appearances in the 2017/18 season, finding the net once and missing just one League game.

Welcome to The Den, Murray!
