Preview | Millwall v Rochdale

A look ahead to Saturday's Emirates FA Cup encounter...

27 January 2018

Millwall welcome Rochdale to The Den on Saturday afternoon (kick-off 3pm) for an Emirates FA Cup Fourth Round tie.

Following the 4-1 Third Round victory over Barnsley, The Lions take on Sky Bet League One 'Dale for a place in Round Five.

Last time out, Neil Harris' side played out an extraordinary 4-3 victory over Leeds United, whilst Keith Hill's men lost 2-1 at Gillingham.

Jason Shackell could make his Millwall debut this weekend after signing on loan from Derby County on Thursday morning.

Harris may opt to field a side similar to that in the win over The Tykes, meaning that David Martin, Tony Craig, Ben Thompson and Tom Elliott could be in line for a starting berth.

The two clubs have met just 12 times previously, with The Lions holding the upper hand, having won on six occasions to Rochdale's three.

Last season, the pair scored 11 goals between them in two games, with Ian Henderson's last-minute penalty-kick handing Dale all three points in a 3-2 victory at The Den. Jed Wallace was on hand to prod home the equaliser at Spotland in March 2017 in a 3-3 draw.

Millwall's Family Fun Zone is open! Visit the Lions Centre between 1-2pm for FREE fun. Click here for more details.

A reduced matchday programme will be on sale around the ground prior to kick-off, priced at £2.
