Millwall boss Neil Harris has praised Ray Wilkins as a 'fantastic football man' following the passing of the former Lions Assistant Manager on Wednesday afternoon.
Wilkins, 61, made four appearances for the club in the latter part of his playing career and alongside Dennis Wise steered the club to its first-ever FA Cup Final in 2004.
Writing in his programme notes ahead of Saturday's Sky Bet Championship game against Bristol City, Harris said: "It was with huge sadness that I learned of the passing of Ray Wilkins on Wednesday afternoon. Dave Livermore and I played under Ray during that incredible run to the FA Cup Final in 2004 and he really was a fantastic football man who we both had the utmost respect for.
"He had enjoyed a tremendous playing career, and as a coach his knowledge and understanding of the game was second to none. It was a great privilege to have known and worked with Ray. He will be sadly missed."
