Millwall Football Club is pleased to announce a new media partnership with the South London Press.
The agreement, which runs until the end of the current 2017/18 campaign, will see the two parties work closely together on various advertising and content opportunities across both print and digital platforms.
Launched in 1865, the South London Press covers the boroughs of Lambeth, Southwark, Lewisham, Merton, Greenwich and Wandsworth and has long had a reputation for outstanding Millwall coverage. Street Runners bought the South London Press in July.
Billy Taylor, Millwall's Head of Media & Communications, said: "This new partnership will take what has always been a positive long-term relationship between the club and the South London Press to the next level.
"Millwall and the South London Press share a lot of values, including an unwavering commitment to supporting the local community, and this agreement will allow scope for furthering that and so much more during the coming months."
Richard Cawley, Sports Editor at the South London Press, added: "The South London Press is delighted at a new media partnership with Millwall Football Club - underlining our dedication to provide the best coverage possible of The Lions.
"Our twice-weekly newspaper, out on a Tuesday and Friday, has always supplied in-depth coverage of Millwall Football Club - along with our website - and that will continue to be the case.”
