Preview | Sheffield Wednesday v Millwall

A look ahead to Tuesday night's Hillsborough trip...

31 October 2017

Millwall hit the road once more on Tuesday night as they take on Sheffield Wednesday in the Sky Bet Championship (kick-off 7.45pm).

After a controversial goalless draw at Cardiff City on Saturday afternoon, Neil Harris' Lions head to Hillsborough in search of their first away win of the season - and a result that would take them to three games unbeaten in the League.

Tuesday's meeting will be the 45th between the two, with Millwall currently 17-14 down in the all-time victories stakes. The last match saw The Owls take all three points away from The Den in February 2015, as Diego Fabbrini's 90th-minute strike acted only as a consolation in a 3-1 defeat.

The Lions' record at Hillsborough is good, however, with the club only having lost one of their last six visits to S6. Barry Hayles and Carl Asaba were on target in Millwall's last win in September 2005.

Harris has called on his side to produce a "positive display" in Sheffield, whilst also confirming that a number of players will be assessed before kick-off.
