Stalemate for Sky Blues and Lions...

30 October 2017

Sky Blues and Lions fight out a goalless draw in Monday afternoon's Professional Development League clash at Ricoh Arena.

It was a busy afternoon for Millwall goalkeeper Ryan Sandford, who dealt with a flurry of crosses into the box in the opening exchanges.

Jordan Shipley came closest to opening the scoring for Coventry City in the 15th minute after combining with wing-back Dion Kelly-Evans. The midfielder set his sights on the bottom corner but was denied by the outstretched glove of the Lions stopper.

The visitors began to find a foothold in the match in the second-half, but Sky Blues 'keeper Corey Addai stood his ground to deny strikes from Lewis White and Lions forward Kristian Brymora as the match petered out into a goalless draw.

Millwall: Sandford, McNamara, Chesmain, Hanson, Mbulu, Rooney, Sanders-Henry (Olaofe 65'), Wicks, Brymora, Barnham, White. Subs not used: Queeley, Wright, Mitchell, Debrah.
