Millwall Football Club is pleased to confirm the relaunch of its partnership with Peckham Foodbank.
The Foodbank, run by charity Pecan, is a store of non-perishable food donated by the local community.
Lions stars Paul Rooney, Fred Onyedinma and Kris Twardek were on hand to visit the Peckham High Street branch.
Millwall supporters are encouraged to donate items by the blue bus on matchdays, continuing with this Saturday's visit of Burton Albion to The Den.
Peckham Foodbank have published a shopping list of particular objects that they require, including:
- Tinned Tomatoes
- Rice Pudding
- Tinned Fruits
- Biscuits/Snacks/Confectionary
- Fruit Juice (UHT, Carton)
- Jam
- Cooking Sauces
- Cereal
- Toiletries
- Coffee (100g)
- Tinned Meat (Pork)
- Tinned Meat (Non-Pork)
- Please No Beans Or Pasta
Furthermore, Peckham Foodbank require extra storage space, so are asking for anyone that has or knows of a storage facility to get in touch.
