MK Dons 'School Fixture' a hit

10 March 2017

Over 250 students attend 2-1 victory...

Millwall's 2-1 victory over MK Dons on Saturday 4th March saw the inaugural 'School Fixture' take place, with the club entertaining over 250 students, parents and teachers that took advantage of reduced ticket prices, gift bags, a purposely designed FunZone and much more.

Schools including John Ball, Boutcher, Bessemer Grange, St James C of E, John Staner and Peter Hills attended, with juniors from John Ball selected as Guards of Honour and Player Escorts on the day.

The club would like to congratulate John Ball, as over 80 people associated with the school bought tickets for the game, winning them a signed shirt and ball, which will be presented in the coming weeks.

Boutcher and John Staner will also be presented with a signed ball each, after over 40 people from both schools attended the match.

Our final congratulations go to Daisy Finch, who went on to win the FunZone drawing competition. Daisy will be back at The Den for the Bury fixture on 18th March, where she will receive a signed football and programme.

We hope that everybody enjoyed the day and we look forward to seeing you again in the future!
