Millwall Football Club is delighted to announce that Mahlon Romeo has put pen-to-paper on a new contract that will see him stay at The Den until the summer of 2019.
There is also an option to extend the defender's deal for an additional 12 months.
The right-back, who has made 58 appearances for The Lions since making his breakthrough in February 2016, told millwallfc.co.uk of his "easy decision" to sign on and also looked forward to the coming Sky Bet Championship campaign.
"I'm really happy about it," he said. "We are in The Championship now and we have a really good squad that I'm really glad to be a part of.
"It was an easy decision. I am delighted that the offer was made and I am raring to go and start the season. I think we have what it takes to do well in this division.
"Everyone is happy to be back and we are all really excited and ready to go. We know what is to come. There is a lot of high quality in this League, but I think we are ready for the challenge."
Millwall boss Neil Harris added: "This is just reward for Mahlon. Since he made his debut 18 months ago, he has quickly become an important member of the first team squad and will be looking forward to testing himself at a higher level in The Championship.
"Mahlon has returned in great shape for pre-season training and now this contract has been signed, he can continue to focus on working hard ahead of the new campaign."
