Millwall boss Neil Harris has praised an "excellent week" ahead of the squad's return from Portugal on Wednesday.
Ahead of the 2017/18 Sky Bet Championship campaign, The Lions have once more spent time in the Iberian Peninsula working on fitness and tactics, playing two behind-closed-doors friendlies in the process.
Harris told millwallfc.co.uk that whilst the squad have enjoyed a fruitful period away from home, there is still "loads of work" to go before the club kick-off their League campaign at Nottingham Forest on 4th August.
"It's been an excellent week," he said. "We've come through it with no injuries and nearly every player completed every single training session. It has also been a fantastic bedding in period for the new signings.
"My players' application and desire to learn was first class, both on the training field and in the classroom through video messages.
"We've played two friendlies whilst out here, one against a direct English team and another against a technical Portugese side, which has given us two completely different tests ahead of the new season.
"However, we are now looking forward to getting back home. There is loads of work to do before we travel to Nottingham Forest, such as our combination play."
