Defender Shaun Hutchinson "won't be rushed back" to face Watford
Millwall's newest signing Jake Cooper may retain his place in the Lions backline following confirmation Shaun Hutchinson is "unlikely" to return from injury against Watford in Sunday's Emirates FA Cup tie (12noon).
"Shaun had a niggle in his calf and that's why he missed the last game," Harris told millwallfc.co.uk. "We don't want to aggravate it any further so we're most likely looking to get him back for the Walsall or Coventry match next week."
Hutchinson's omission paved the way for 21-year-old Cooper to make his full debut against Bradford City on Saturday, just two days after signing a loan deal from Championship club Reading.
"Jake played a full ninety minutes and that's great for his fitness levels," the Lions boss added.
"I thought he was outstanding for us and looked a good combination with Byron Webster. He won headers and you can see that he's played a lot of Championship football with the way he dealt with movement around the box."
Harry Smith will also be monitored ahead of the Fourth Round fixture after the Lions striker suffered a knock to his leg in Millwall U23s victory over QPR last week.
"He didn't make the trip to Bradford either because he's had a dead leg. He's another one we will assess, other than that we hope to have a fit and healthy squad."
