All you need to know ahead of Wednesday night's match...Millwall and Walsall will meet for the 78th time on Wednesday night in their Sky Bet League One clash at The Den (7.45pm kick-off).
In the first of five home League games in the month of February and on the cusp of the top six, The Lions will look to stretch their unbeaten run, currently standing at eight games in all competitions.
Two Premier League scalps in the club's last two home games have brought a real buzz to SE16 and a similar atmosphere will be hoped for when The Saddlers come to town.
Millwall will also look to avenge a 2-1 defeat at The Banks's Stadium in October 2016. Fred Onyedinma headed home his first League goal of the season after Simeon Jackson had opened the scoring for Walsall, but Franck Moussa's strike shortly after half-time handed The Saddlers all three points.
The Lions hold the upper hand with regards to historical victories, with 37 wins to Walsall's 21.
Mahlon Romeo is one Lion who will look back on this fixture fondly - the right-back scored on his debut last season to set Millwall on their way to a memorable 3-0 win in February 2016.
The left boot of ex-captain Alan Dunne is also synonymous with The Saddlers, as his injury-time thunderbolt secured a vital point for The Lions in their chase for a Play-Off spot in a 2-2 draw in March 2010.
Another man with good memories of Walsall is current manager Neil Harris - his 16th minute goal in a 2-1 win in December 2008 equaled Teddy Sheringham's all-time goal-scoring record.
March 1999 saw the two clubs meet three times in seven days, as a League encounter was sandwiched between two Auto Windscreens Shield Area Semi-Final ties. The Lions lost the Division Two tie, but were victorious in the Cup, with a 2-1 aggregate victory ensuring their place at Wembley Stadium and a Final against Wigan Athletic.
More historical wins over The Saddlers include a 2-1 win in March 1964, whilst nearly 41 years ago to the day, goals from Terry Brisley and Barry Salvage captured a victory of the same scoreline on 31st January 1976.
