Millwall confirm Wallace return

19 January 2017

Winger Jed becomes first January signing

Millwall Football Club is delighted to confirm the signing of Jed Wallace on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers for the rest of 2016/17 with a view to agreeing a permanent transfer at the end of the campaign.

The winger featured 14 times for Millwall in a similar spell last season and his impressive form was instrumental as The Lions climbed into Sky Bet League One Play-Off and promotion contention during the second-half of 2015/16.

Wallace was recalled early from that loan spell and has since made 16 appearances for parent club Wolves, the last of which was in their 0-0 draw with Preston North End in November.

The 22-year-old, Millwall's new number 14, will train with The Lions on Thursday with a view to being in contention for a place in the squad which travels to Bradford City this weekend.
