Millwall's Shaun Hutchinson has signed a new long-term contract that will see the defender remain at the club until at least the summer of 2020.
Hutchinson, whose new deal includes the option of an additional 12 months, has made nearly 50 appearances for The Lions and is again expected to line-up in Saturday's Sky Bet Championship fixture against Sheffield United.
The centre-back has become an integral part of Neil Harris' set-up since joining in 2016, helping the club to promotion via the League One Play-Offs and being handed the captain's armband on a number of occasions this season.
"I'm absolutely over the moon," Hutchinson told millwallfc.co.uk after putting pen-to-paper.
"Since I came to this club I have always enjoyed my time here. Working with the gaffer and the lads has helped me to settle here and I do believe this manager has created a team that can bring success.
"I had targets when I first signed here and that was to get promoted and play as many games as possible. If things keep going the way they are going then I will be over the moon."
