Millwall Under 23s drew 1-1 with Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday afternoon at The Den in the Professional Development League.
Kris Twardek opened the scoring for The Lions from the penalty spot, but James Murphy's strike levelled matters.
The first chance of the afternoon went the way of the visitors, but Harry Girling was on hand to tip Fraser Preston's shot over the crossbar.
On 16 minutes, The Lions took the lead. Noah Chesmain was fouled by Ash Baker just inside the box, which prompted referee Mr Cooke to point to the penalty spot. Twardek confidently dispatched his kick to the left of Matt Wallis to open the scoring.
With 27 minutes on the clock, Wednesday levelled in fortunate circumstances. Murphy's effort slipped under the grasp and through the legs of Girling and rolled into the net.
Just two minutes later, Lewis White should have put Millwall back in front, but missed a rebound from 12-yards out with most of the goal at his mercy.
On 59 minutes, Twardek pulled the ball back across the face of the penalty area but there was no Lions touch to prod home, whilst Ben Thompson tried his luck from distance five minutes later.
Both sides jostled for the winning goal as the second-half ticked on, but had to settle for a point at the end of the game.
