Young Lions hit Tykes for five...
Millwall's U23s ran riot at The Den on Monday afternoon as they demolished Barnsley 5-1.
Kayden Jackson levelled Jamie Philpot's opener from the penalty spot in the first-half, but goals from Jalen Jones and Lewis White on the stroke of half-time swung the game in Millwall's favour.
Noel Leighton added a second-half double as The Lions eased to victory.
Philpot handed Millwall the lead on 20 minutes with a strike from inside the penalty area, before Jackson levelled for The Tykes from the penalty spot seven minutes before the break, shooting low to Ryan Sandford's left.
The young Lions took control of the game, however, in the closing stages of the first-half, as Jones headed home Joe Wicks' corner-kick, whilst two minutes later, the impressive White fired home from 12-yards out.
On 74 minutes, Leighton bagged his first of the afternoon after good work down the left-hand side from Noah Chesmain, before five minutes later, the striker claimed his second, firing into the roof of the net.
