Skipper calls on team-mates to grind out a "season defining" result at Bristol Rovers
Tony Craig has backed Millwall to put last Saturday's "uncharacteristic" defeat to Oxford behind them and qualify for the Sky Bet League One play-offs on Sunday.
The Lions travel to Bristol Rovers knowing a win in the final match of the season will be enough to secure their place, while anything less may open the door for Rochdale or Southend to sneak into the top six.
"Thankfully our fate is still in our hands," Craig told millwallfc.co.uk
"We didn't do well enough against Oxford, we all know that. It was a performance that was very unlike us - especially at The Den.
"The good thing is that we have a great group of lads here and they can bounce back quickly. It's now up to us to go and define our season.
"We will have a big backing of Lions fans travelling to Bristol and that will be really important. Hopefully we can give them a good performance and pay our fans back for their excellent support this season."
But leaving Memorial Stadium with three points won't be an easy task. The Rovers haven't lost on home soil in twelve matches and are expected to welcome back a number of players from injury.
"If you look at Bristol's home record they are right up there in the League. They are technically a very good side and have a few battlers in there as well. But we have to go there full of confidence and get the job done."
