Team news ahead of Southend v Millwall

16 September 2016

Find out the latest from both camps

Millwall boss Neil Harris could bring Lee Gregory back into his squad for Saturday's trip to Southend United (3pm).

The 28-year-old has missed the club's last five fixtures with a hip injury but is back in contention having returned to training last Saturday.

Gregory's potential return provides a boost to Millwall's attacking options but with Aiden O'Brien and Steve Morison both in form, manager Harris could choose to start last season's top scorer on the bench at Roots Hall.

Shaun Hutchinson remains absent as does Shaun Cummings, though the latter did feature for the club's U23 side last Monday as he steps up his recovery from a long-term knee injury.

Southend could welcome back midfielder Anthony Wordsworth, who was set to return to training on Friday, as well as experienced defender Anton Ferdinand. Michael Timlin (hamstring) is sidelined as is striker Nile Ranger.
