Lions boss preview Saturday's big game
Neil Harris expects a reaction from Southend United when he takes his Millwall side to play The Shrimpers at Roots Hall on Saturday (3pm).
Phil Brown's men lost heavily to Scunthorpe United last time out and go in Saturday's game winless in the League at home so far in 2016/17.
The Lions will aim for a third straight victory over Southend at Roots Hall after two comfortable victories there last season but Harris has warned his players to expect a backlash from the Essex side after a frustrating few weeks.
"We had a couple of really good games there last year and played very well," Harris said.
"We know it's going to be a tough challenge and Southend go into it on the back of 4-0 defeat against Scunthorpe, so we know there is going to be a reaction.
"We have to make sure we're ourselves. We are very diligent to the opposition and we're going to have to be organised and aggressive.
"The League table is irrelevant at this stage of the season so we certainly don't get drawn into thinking that because Southend have had a couple of defeats it's going to be an easy game. That doesn't happen.
"They have a manager who will be hurting and players who will be frustrated with themselves, and they will be looking for a reaction in front of their crowd."
