The latest on Gregory, Hutchinson and Cummings
Neil Harris believes that Lee Gregory should be fit to play at least some part of Millwall's game away to Southend United this weekend.
Last season's top scorer has been out of action since the win over Sheffield United with a slight hip problem but returned to training late last week.
And Harris, who looks set to recall the striker to his matchday squad, has also provided an update on the fitness of defensive duo Shaun Cummings and Shaun Hutchinson.
"Lee trained last Saturday morning in a brief session with the U23s, his first for around three weeks," the manager said.
"He has trained this week so whether he is fully fit enough to start the game is something we will have to contemplate, but he certainly would come back into the squad.
"Shaun Cummings played 45 minutes at Birmingham on Monday and was a little bit tentative as you would expect after so long out. He has been with the training group for a few weeks now and will hopefully play 60-70 minutes at The Den against (Nottingham) Forest on Monday, and then 90 minutes the week after. He's not a million miles away, hopefully two to three weeks maximum.
"Every time it looks like he (Shaun Hutchinson) has got there he's just had a little set-back, but hopefully he won't be too long. Shaun is a frustrated man at the moment because he is desperate to get out there and being at a new club he wants to prove a point and show his qualities. We've seen it day-in, day-out on the training pitch over the course of pre-season so we know it's there. We have to be a little bit patient and that we don't push him too soon to get back fit."
