Young fans and players have a ball at the Lions Centre!
The event, coming less than 24 hours after Neil Harris' team had drawn 1-1 at home to Coventry City, was a great opportunity for our young fans to meet with their heroes, and make the most of some great activities like the bouncy castle, badge-making, inflatable gladiators and penalty shoot-out.
There were a few hundred photographs taken and autographs signed too, whilst free tickets to watch Millwall Lionesses play Durham Ladies on the hallowed Den pitch were snapped up quickly.
"Tracey Huckle, who does face-painting in the Family Stand on home matchdays, came along and put her talent to good use. She was so busy that she didn't get a break as there were so many of our young supporters who wanted their faces painted!
"The players really got into the spirit of the afternoon signing autographs, taking part in the penalty shoot-out and generally just enjoying themselves.
"Tony Craig, Shaun Williams and Jimmy Abdou all brought their kids along with them, and they all seemed to have fun as well."
We would like to say a huge 'thank you' to the tireless efforts of the Junior Lions Committee for their input and support, including Wayne Millward, Bob Millward, Elaine Millward, Ed Boswell, Laura Jones, John Reynolds and Joan Bennett in helping make the day such a success.
