Sads and Hutch on the programme tonightIn an interview with the BBC former Lions Manager Mark McGhee described Richard Sadlier as "potentially the best young centre forward he had ever worked with". With his natural goalscoring ability Sads quickly became a favourite with the Millwall fans, and when he was called up for the Republic of Ireland in 2002, his career acquired a distinctly meteoric profile.
However, in what could only be described as a great loss to club, country and football, his career was tragically cut short by a hip injury which saw him retire from the game in 2003.
These days Sads is still heavily involved in the game as a pundit for broadcaster RTE Sports, but he'll be bringing his irish charm to bear in the Lions Live studio tonight to talk about life on and off the pitch.
Second on tonight's programme is a defender snapped up from Fulham in June. Shaun Hutchinson's appearances in a Millwall shirt have been severely limited due to injury but the defender successfully completed a 75 minute stint for the U23'S against Crystal Palace last Monday and he'll be in the studio tonight to talk about the long and winding road back to fitness.
Millwall quiz afficianados should pay close attention to this evening's proceedings. A mystery prize is up for grabs along with two tickets for Saturday's game against Fleetwood.
Brought to you direct from The Den, Lions Live will be on from 7 - 9pm.
