Millwall name strong U23s squad for QPR away

24 October 2016

Cummings, Hutchinson, King, Nelson and Wylde all set to feature against Hoops

Justin Skinner has named a strong squad as Millwall U23s go in search of a fourth successive Professional Development League victory against QPR U23s at Harlington this afternoon (1pm).

The Lions have settled into their stride after a patchy start to the campaign, and go into action in confident mood having won their last three games on the spin against Nottingham Forest (1-0), Leeds United (2-0) and most recently Crystal Palace (1-0).

Defender Shaun Cummings is set to play his first full 90 minutes of match action since January, and will take his place in a rearguard likely to feature Sid Nelson, Noah Chesmain, Shaun Hutchinson and goalkeeper Tom King.

Gregg Wylde, who was on the bench for the senior side in Saturday's 2-1 home win over Fleetwood Town, is included in the travelling party.

Youngster Eze Ebuzoeme has been rewarded for his impressive display in Millwall U18s 3-1 success at Huddersfield on Saturday with a place in the squad to face QPR.

The squad in full is: Tom King, Harry Girling, Shaun Cummings, Noah Chesmain, Christian Mbulu, Rian Bray, Harry Donovan, Shaun Hutchinson, Sid Nelson, Kris Twardek, Kyron Farrell, Kyren Mundle-Smith, Harry Smith, Alfie Pavey, Gregg Wylde, Eze Ebuzoeme.
