Local people set to get priority at new community facility
After the announcement of their brand new facility, St Paul’s Sports Ground, Millwall Community Trust has already received many enquiries about booking opportunities available. However MCT is committed to give local people the first opportunity to enquire about any bookings available as they remain a key part of the local community.
MCT CEO Steve Bradshaw said: “We will look to build on the work we are already doing in Southwark and believe that the St Paul’s Sports Ground will be a tremendous asset for the local community in that part of the borough.”
North Southwark has just received a huge boost in opportunities to take part in sport thanks to LB Southwark at this sports ground. Also the home ground of non-league side Fisher FC, St Pauls will be a community venue for most of the week for years to come. Taking part in sport is one of the best forms of exercise as it includes physical, mental and huge social benefits in doing so.
Millwall Community Trust is taking booking enquiries for their high quality centre during the on and off season of 2016/17. Don’t wait too long to enquire, slots will be going quickly and MCT want as many people involved as they can.
MCT’s aim is to use the unique passion of Millwall to connect and inspire the local community.
