Millwall manager is thrilled with win against Bristol Rovers
Neil Harris was full of praise for his side after watching them record their biggest win of the season, beating Bristol Rovers 4-0 at The Den.Rovers were reduced to ten men after 16 minutes, but the Lions boss acknowledged that the visitors still caused his team problems.
He said: "Bristol Rovers were excellent with ten men but for 37 minutes today we played as well as at any time under my stewardship.
"We could have been four or five up at half-time but we had to defend well because they're a good side with some very good players.
"At times we dug in and had to be patient. We made good decisions out of possession and took advantage when the chances came our way.
"The second goal killed the contest but I was delighted with all the goals. Harry Smith had an excellent debut while Lee Gregory led the line really well in Steve Morison's absence.
"Steve has damage to his knee and will be out for about six weeks. Now it will be up to others to step up and lead in the way he does."
