VIDEO | Goals and reaction from Millwall U23s win at Bristol City

"We looked dangerous every time we went forward," Justin Skinner

It was five wins on the spin for Millwall's U23 side following their 4-0 demolition of Bristol City on Monday afternoon.

With a settled squad, Justin Skinner's charges are now playing with a fluency and consistency which has enabled them to overcome a series of clubs from higher echelons of the League in the last month, including Nottingham Forest, Leeds United, Crystal Palace and QPR.
Speaking after the latest success, Millwall's Professional Development League boss Skinner said: "We started the game really well and it turned out to be one of our best performances of the season.

"Our shape was excellent, we defended well and created chances at will.

"We looked dangerous every time we went forward and capitalised on our set-pieces.

"We approached the second-half with the same mentality, but we knew that game was won and in the back of our minds our goal now was to keep a clean sheet. We restricted Bristol City to very few chances and it was a comprehensive victory in the end."
