Check our numbers guide to Saturday's game
Neil Harris will be hoping to maintain the air of optimism pervading The Den ahead of Saturday's Den meeting with fifth-placed Bristol Rovers - and with six wins from their last seven games, confidence among the rampant Lions will not be in short supply.
With the upper hand in previous encounters, The Pirates will be hoping to swash and buckle three points from the weekend broadside. The south-west outfit have 34 wins in all competitions against Millwall's 26, with 20 previous meetings ending in a draw.
However, it is almost seven years since the two teams last crossed swords and on that occasion back in December 2009, The Lions managed to repel their boarders with a 2-0 win.
It was none other than Steve Morison, serving his first term in office on the Millwall frontline, who opened the scoring on 62 minutes to put The Lions ahead. However it took until the fifth-minute of injury time before The Pirates were finally holed below the waterline when visiting defender Pat Baldwin put the ball into his own net.
Millwall's team that day was as follows: David Forde, Tony Craig, Jack Smith, Paul Robinson, Andy Frampton, Jimmy Abdou, Chris Hackett, Marc Laird (Adam Bolder, 88mins), Dave Martin (Danny Schofield, 81mins), Jason Price (Lewis Grabban, 46mins), Steve Morison. Subs not used: John Sullivan, Darren Ward, Scott Barron, Ali Fuseini.
If you reckon that there could be a repeat of that 2-0 score on Saturday, Sky Bet are offering 9/1, with The Lions priced at 11/10 for the home win, Rovers 12/5 and a draw 5/2.
Tony Craig, one of three current Lions players to have featured in the last meeting with Bristol Rovers, is 12/1 to score his first goal of the season and an inviting 40/1 to be first or last goalscorer. Fred Onyedinma, who equalled last season's tally with his fourth of the current campaign at Luton midweek, is 9/4 to hit the target on Saturday.
