Gallery | Harvey's big day at Wembley

30 May 2016

A special occasion captured on camera

The result may not have gone the way that anyone at Millwall wanted on Sunday, but for one young man in particular, it was a day that he will never forget.

Harvey Brown, 7, was the club's mascot at Wembley for the League One Play-Off Final and along with his family, had a day they will never forget.

From meeting the players in the huge changing room before kick-off, to being interviewed by Emma Jones of BBC London and then being given special permission from Wembley Stadium's head groundsman to have his photo taken with Dad Dean on the hallowed playing surface before the game - pretty much unheard of! - to leading the team out with skipper Tony Craig and then joining the rest of his family in the stand to watch the game, it was a special afternoon for a very special youngster.

Take a look through our gallery that captures some great photos from behind-the-scenes, along with Harvey and action from the game too.
