Lions defender set for Den return against Bristol City

Tony Craig will step up his rehabilitation when he captains Millwall U21s in their Professional Development League match against Bristol City at The Den this afternoon (2pm).

The 30-year-old defender has been out of action since suffering a serious injury during the 0-0 draw with Bradford City at The Den back in October.

TC returned to full contact training last week and the next stage is to get some minutes of match action, so he could play the first 45 minutes against The Robins.

Striker Alfie Pavey is also set to start, having completed his loan spell with Aldershot, whilst a quartet of players who were involved in the senior squad against Burton in League One last night - Harry Girling, Jamie Philpot, Kyron Farrell and Sid Nelson - are also featuring this afternoon.

Admission is £5 adults and £1 U16s.

Millwall: Sandford, Brown, Chesmain, Donovan, Nelson, Craig, Twardek, Farrell, Pavey, Philpot, Eze. Subs: Girling, Parr, Mulrooney-Skinner, White, Ndjoli.
