Millwall re-sign Taylor on loan

17 March 2016

Winger Chris joins for the rest of 2015/16

Millwall have re-signed Chris Taylor on loan from Blackburn Rovers for the rest of the season.

The winger first played for The Lions in the 2012/13 campaign, during which he scored three goals in 26 appearances.

Since departing The Den the 29-year-old, who began his career with Oldham, has made 73 appearances at Ewood Park, including 15 this season.

After putting pen-to-paper Taylor told millwallfc.co.uk: "I'm really excited to be back here and hopefully I can make a positive impact between now and the end of the season.

"The boys have been doing really well all year and while we've got a great chance to finish in the Play-Offs, there is still a lot of work to be done. I'm looking forward to getting back out there at The Den on Saturday, if selected, at the start of a really important few weeks."

Neil Harris added: "Chris had a very successful season here at Millwall a few years back and we hope he can repeat the type of performances and level of consistency which he achieved first time around.

"He is exactly the type of character and professional who can fit straight into our squad and with his quality Chris will, I believe, prove to be a very important acquisition for us in the final weeks of the season."
