The boss on Thompson, Abdou, Williams and Upson
Millwall manager Neil Harris has talked up his midfield options ahead of the crucial League One Play-Off run-in.
Ben Thompson and Jimmy Abdou have impressed as a central partnership during the last two games but the boss knows he can also call upon Shaun Williams and Ed Upson, who have both performed equally well whenever they have played this season.
The Lions have 11 games left to play, starting away to Swindon Town on Saturday, and Harris says his continuing selection dilemma in midfield is a "lovely position to be in".
"He's a battler and a warrior," Harris said of young midfielder Thompson.
"And you know what you get with Jimmy Abdou - you get exactly the same.
"I thought they were really good against a three-man midfield (against Blackpool). I thought they dominated the midfield, the two of them.
"It's really pleasing when you've got a player of the quality of Shaun Williams on the bench along with Ed Upson trying to force their way back in. It's a lovely position to be in for me."
The boss has also reserved individual praise for Jed Wallace after he netted he first goal for the club during Saturday's win over Blackpool.
"Jed has done really well," Harris added.
"He's bright, he's lively and he puts good deliveries into the box.
"I watched him score some really good goals last year and he has been frustrated with his lack of goalscoring feats since he's been here, so I'm delighted for him that he got that one."
