The boss looking to add to his attacking options
Neil Harris has revealed that Millwall are "very close" to making their first signing of the summer.
The Lions manager said yesterday
that he is busy looking at bringing in a new defender but has now also confirmed that his first move in the transfer market will be for a winger.
"You can't stand still in professional football," Harris said.
"You have to always strive to be better and the signings we brought in last year, loans and permanent ones, were successful.
"We have to try and re-enact that straight away and try to bring a squad together that gives us different options in games at different stages of the season.
"We are very close to adding a wide player to the squad and it will be important to get that done, so hopefully it can be announced soon.
"There will be an attacking element to the players I want to bring in and that is key for the fan base to see that we are going to try and score a lot of goals."
