Millwall Lionesses appoint Lee Burch as manager

27 July 2016

'We must start getting results and points that we deserve' says new boss

Millwall Lionesses have confirmed the appointment of Lee Burch as first team manager until the end of the WSL2 season.

Lee, who has previously worked as a Skills Coach for the FA and within Southampton and Hampshire's Centre of Excellence, said; "I'm absolutely delighted to be joining Millwall Lionesses.

"It was a job that I was interested in from the moment I saw it. I had already been to watch the team play Bristol City a few weeks ago and was impressed with their performance, attitude and the whole set up.

"The objectives are clear - to start to get the results and points on the board that the performances have warranted. The players and staff have remained positive and now we must get those rewards."

Lauren Phillips, who had been in interim charge supported by Andy Hill, will now continue their roles as first team coach and Development Manager respectively.
