Millwall entertain Bermondsey Carnival visitors

5 July 2016

Lions enjoy popular event

Millwall Football Club and the Community Trust were in attendance at this year's Bermondsey Carnival last week.

Attendees to the ever-popular event were pleased to see the football club interacting with members of the local community, particularly youngsters, who posed for photos with mascots Zampa and Bolina throughout.

Those who visited the club's stand were able to take away match programmes from previous seasons and make the most of reduced prices on products from the Lions Store. As well, an energetic team of staff from the Community Trust were on hand to oversee small-sided games and offer useful coaching advice.

Congratulations must go to the winners of three competitions held on the day, namely Mick Norris, Ricky Kite and Lee Taylor, who won a signed shirt, two match tickets and two Stadium Tour tickets respectively.

This coming Saturday (9th July) the club will be in attendance at the Lewisham People's Day event with plenty of similar activities and prizes to look forward to.
