The manager provides his post-match assessment
Neil Harris praised his Millwall side for the quality of their work in and out of possession during Tuesday's 3-0 pre-season friendly win over Dartford.
Fred Onyedinma and Aiden O'Brien gave The Lions a comfortable lead at the interval before Jamie Philpot came off the bench to add a third during the closing stages.
The result made it back-to-back friendly wins for Harris' side and the Millwall boss was pleased with the manner of his team's performance on an immensely warm evening at Princes Park.
"There were some really strong performances," he said.
"We look assured with the ball and I thought our decision making at the majority of times was good.
"Dartford dropped off and allowed us to have the ball at times, which we're not used to at our level so that was a good test for the boys and they did really well.
"We scored three very good goals and I thought Fred in particular was really lively. Jamie then came on and showed the strength in depth we have in young strikers and his work rate enabled him to win the ball back before finishing the move off for his goal.
"In the last half an hour all the young players got on the pitch and the chance to play in front of 1,500 fans will have been a great experience for them.
"I'm delighted with the chances we created and overall it was a good workout with and without the ball."
