Millwall XI to play first-ever match at the DGS Marine Stadium
A Millwall XI side will be in action on Friday night as Greenwich Borough, managed by Lions legend Gary Alexander, host their first ever game at the DGS Marine Stadium.
Striker Gaz, who is still a regular visitor to The Den, made a total of 104 appearances for The Lions during 2007-2010 and will go down in Millwall folklore as scoring arguably the greatest goal seen at the new Wembley Stadium in the 2009 Play-Off Final.
Lions fans making the short trip to Middle Park Avenue will also be able to see another former Den favourite. Whilst Alexander will be managing Ryman South side Greenwich from the touchline, winger Peter Sweeney who played for the club from 2000-2005, is expected to feature for Borough.
Kick-Off at the DGS Marine Stadium is 7.45pm and tickets cost £10 adults plus £5 concessions (over 65 and U16).
