Irishman commits himself to the club until 2019
Aiden O'Brien has signed a new long-term contract at Millwall, committing himself to the club until June 2019.
O'Brien has enjoyed a superb season so far and his recent goal away to Southend United was the 10th of a campaign which has seen him already feature 29 times for The Lions.
The 22-year-old, who progressed through the club's Academy set-up before becoming a first team regular, has quickly reached 50 appearances for Millwall and is delighted to have secured his long-term future at The Den.
"It's great for me and also for my family that a new contract has been signed," O'Brien said.
"I feel that it's been a good first-half of the season, not just individually but also for the team.
"I can't thank the manager enough for his trust in me on the pitch, which is shown by the amount of games I've played this season.
"My focus remains on continuing to play as much as possible and scoring plenty of goals for Millwall in the future."
Neil Harris added: "I'm delighted for Aiden that his long-term future with the club has been secured.
"It's great for the football club because he is a young talent who has been one of our players since a very young age and risen through the Academy ranks.
"Aiden was desperate to stay here long-term and given that he has been one of the key performers this year everyone at the club is pleased that the deal is signed.
"It is great business both ways and we look forward to Aiden being a success in a Millwall shirt for years to come."
