Framps and Big Joe on Lions Live

7 January 2016

Tune in tonight to hear from two Millwall favourites

Lions Live returns this evening following the festive break - and what a pair of cracking guests the team have lined up to appear tonight.

First up is a welcome return to the show for former defender and current first team coach Andy Frampton.

Framps last appeared when he announced his retirement from football, so it will be a great opportunity to catch up with the popular former Player of the Year on what it was like to finally hang up his playing boots, the transition to giving instructions from the touchline rather than on the field and his thoughts on the rest of the season.

To those fans who have read Mike Calvin's superb book 'Family', Framps will be remembered as one of the 'Guvnors' - so this is a chance to hear about his time playing for The Lions too.

Having kicked-off the show at 7pm, Framps will be 'subbed' during the second-half when the Lions Live team talk to a man who knows all about the youth set-up at The Den, and its importance to the success of the club.

'Big' Joe Dolan is one of many players to have progressed through the ranks here, and he will be talking about what it was like to play in the same youth team - and then first team - with players such as Tim Cahill, Steven Reid, Paul Ifill and Marc Bircham.

Joe is back in the UK on a flying visit having recently moved to Australia, so this is a wonderful opportunity to catch up with another of our firm favourites.

Don't forget that this week's competition takes place too, with a fantastic Lions Live beer stein up for grabs for one lucky winner.
