The managers provides his post-match assessment
Neil Harris praised his Millwall players for their 'excellent' attacking play during Saturday's 3-0 win over Peterborough United at The Den.
Steve Morison scored a brace either side of Lee Gregory's 20th of the season as The Lions climbed up to fifth in the table.
It was an impressive victory against Play-Off rivals, and Harris was full of praise for his side's performance.
"I'm delighted with the boys," he said afterwards.
"In so many ways it was a proper Millwall performance.
"We didn't get too down after what happened on Tuesday against Scunthorpe because you can't play well every week. But credit to the players because they have shown a real response today by putting in a terrific performance.
"I think our all-round attacking play was excellent, and probably as good as it has been this season. We did really well to get the ball into wide areas and the front two, with and without it, were excellent. They gave us a defensive shape and their quality is there for all to see with their goal tallies.
"The first goal is really important for us, especially here at The Den. Once we got it today the players really showed their quality. They were disciplined, well organised and diligent in their defending, just as we asked of them before the game."
Harris went further with his praise of Morison and for Gregory, who have now netted 32 goals between them this season.
"It's a brilliant achievement for Lee," he added. "That's 20 for him now and 12 for Steve Morison, so they are playing really well and are a good pair. They work extremely hard without the ball and they get their reward when we have it."
