Striker believes trip north will be Lions' litmus test
Millwall striker Aiden O'Brien is revelling in the pressure that comes from a clash with the table-toppers, saying Saturday's match at Scunthorpe is exactly what The Lions need to put an 'unlucky' week behind them.
"We have to learn from the Wycombe and Shrewsbury defeats and move on," O'Brien told millwallfc.co.uk. "What better way to do that than with a match against the League leaders."
Scunthorpe suffered just their third defeat of the season against Rochdale last weekend and Millwall are under no illusions they face a difficult task on Saturday.
"We need to make sure we have clear heads because this will be one of the biggest tests of our season," he added.
"They are flying at the moment but they lost at the weekend and that is another testament to the unpredictability of this league."
Millwall dominated possession against Shrewsbury but failed to score for just the fourth time of their League One campaign, and The Lions know they can't waste opportunities again if they're to take points off The Iron.
"We all have to chip in to find the back of the net. It's not just down to the strikers, it's about building up our attack as a team and then taking our chances when they come."
