Team news ahead of Millwall v Sheffield United

19 August 2016

One out, two a doubt for Saturday's Den showdown

Neil Harris has confirmed that defender Shaun Hutchinson will miss Saturday's home League One game with Sheffield United (3pm).

Centre-half Shaun hobbled off with a hamstring injury just five minutes after coming on as a second-half sub in the midweek defeat at Peterborough United.

Manager Harris said: "Shaun has had a scan on his hamstring and unfortunately it now looks like he could be out for about four weeks."

Midfielder Shaun Williams and winger David Worrall are both rated 'doubtful' for Saturday's match.

Republic of Ireland play-maker Williams was forced off the field in the first-half of last weekend's 2-2 draw at former club MK Dons suffering from double vision after Kieran Agard accidentally caught him in the face.

Winger Worrall was an unused sub for Millwall against Posh, but is struggling with a tight hamstring and faces a late fitness test.

Shaun Cummings (knee) is a long-term absentee.

One Lions player could make a landmark appearance for the club against Chris Wilder's Blades. If selected to face Sheffield United, striker Steve Morison will be making his 200th appearance for the club.

Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder could hand new signing Simon Moore his first start for the club having penned a three-year deal on Friday morning.

The former Cardiff City goalkeeper goes straight into The Blades squad for their visit to SE16. One player not eligible to play is midfielder John Fleck, who sustained a groin injury in the first-half of the midweek home loss to Southend United and was subsequently forced off at half-time.

Former Derby County man Paul Coutts is the most likely replacement having come on as a second-half replacement for Fleck.
