It's Cas and Aiden O'Brien on Lions Live tonight

18 August 2016

Old and new Irish eyes will be smiling on this evening's show

It should be a "craic" in the Lions Live studio tonight as the team play host to a pair of Irish internationals.

First on the programme, which runs from 7-9pm, is a man whose partnership with Teddy Sheringham in the late eighties has become a benchmark for other strikers hoping to emulate their success.

Tony Cascarino made 128 appearances for Millwall from 1987-90 netting an impressive 49 goals in the process. His skill and virtuosity also earned Cas, by virtue of an Irish grandfather, the chance to represent the Republic of Ireland at international level. He would go on to make 88 appearances for the Emerald Isle, scoring 19 goals along the way.

Since hanging up his boots, Cas has demonstrated a similar level of virtuosity in the studio, as a pundit and presenter for various media organisations including TalkSport and the Drive Time show.

Second on tonight's programme is a young striker who will hoping to match, if not surpass, Cascarino's achievements, both at The Den and on the international stage.

Aiden O'Brien has already notched up a handful of appearances for the Republic of Ireland at U17s, U19s and U21s level with nine goals to his name.

Having carved out a regular first-team spot in the Millwall squad, the 22-year-old Irishman will be hoping to make inroads on the senior echelons of the international arena.

Both Cas and Aiden will open to questions this evening, so have your phone at the ready.

Millwall's excellent run of home form has continued this season and the prize for this week's competition is a pair of tickets for Saturdays's clash against Sheffield United.
